WHAT IS A CPA?
A Child Placement Agency is a corporation or organization, like A Brighter Day, that facilitates or arranges the placement for any child under the age of 18 with any family, person, or institution for the purposes of foster care, treatment, and/or adoption.
A CPA will coordinate, arrange, and approve the process of a child entering an unrelated home or facility to be cared for on a temporary, long-term, or adoptive basis.
As a CPA, A Brighter Day matches children in need with the best family fit. Our team of trainers work with families looking to foster throughout the licensure and certification process, offering unique and in-depth training to give you the tools you need for foster success. We also work with the Department of Family Services and homeless shelters in our community to pair the children in need with foster families.
Our organization also offers unique and in-depth training to meet the CORE and Agency Orientation requirements for your licensure, and we offer resources and recommend vendors for those we are not able to provide internally (like CPR or First Aid training). We even open up our trainings to families that were not placed using our agency – we care about the success of your family, not where you filed the paperwork.
We are committed to the success of the families and children we place.
We make every resource available to you and work with you one-on-one to achieve the best fit and home environment in your foster family. Learn more about the process for becoming a foster parent
